There was a time when those that could write, scribbled on parchment with a quill pen and it was delivered on horseback. Whilst paper continues to be a dominant media in all our lives, we also send over 300 billion emails every day so it’s a good thing that we no longer rely on horses to carry this information.
Some things have yet to change, despite current technology such as data capture and OCR, people are still required to read and understand the information received to give it meaning before the right action can be taken.
Invoices and forms are easy to deal with but the plethora of unstructured information such as customer correspondence or insurance claims is where it’s almost impossible, without human intervention, to decide what’s relevant or important and if it’s important, how important. It’s in this area (where human interaction has always been required) where Celaton is making the greatest technological advances.
Think of it this way, if you hired a new employee you might not expect them to know everything on day one but your confidence and trust in them would grow as they became more experienced. Very soon, they would understand what they are doing and make better decisions for the business.
The thing you expect is quite simply the ability to learn and it’s where inSTREAM™ really earns its spurs (pardon the horse pun!).
