inSTREAM acclaimed by 2020 accountants

The 2020 Innovation Spring Conference saw accountants from all over the UK converge on Coventry’s Ricoh Arena for a series of seminars on strategies for growing their businesses. Interest in inSTREAM was particularly strong, as delegates learned how automated data entry with guaranteed-perfect input into their accounting systems would empower them to rapidly scale up their bookkeeping services offering, without the need to increase staff costs.

BGF invests £2.5M in Celaton

Celaton today announced that it has secured an investment of £2.5M from Business Growth Fund plc (BGF). The investment of growth capital from BGF will support the accelerated development of a sales and marketing infrastructure that will enable Celaton to drives sales into both the public and private sectors.

Redrock operations begin

Redrock operations begin
Following its successful acquisition of Remploy's scanning operations, Celaton has created a new wholly owned subsidiary company called Redrock Document Processing Services Ltd ("Redrock"). Redrock is continuing to employ former Remploy employees and re-opening premises and will leverage Celaton technology to deliver its document process outsourcing services from an interconnected network of service centres throughout the UK. Its first service centre will begin operations on November 5th from Remploy's former offices in Wigan and it is pushing ahead with plans to expand throughout Scotland and Wales.

Remploy acquisition

Remploy acquisition
On 7th March 2012 the lives of Remploy employee's across the UK were thrown into turmoil when they announced the potential closure of 36 of their 54 factories. Remploy Office Fulfilment, a division of Remploy Limited, (and a partner of Celaton) would also be a target of these proposed closures. Within ten days of the announcement Celaton reached agreement in principle with the senior management team of Remploy Office Fulfilment to support a bid to acquire the Remploy scanning operations business and secure the employment of as many former Remploy employees as possible by continuing the journey that we had started with Remploy in October 2011.
