Eddie Clark, Non-Executive Director

Eddie Clarke is a Non-Executive Director of the company. With over 38 years experience in the IT industry, Eddie is considered to be a ‘veteran’ with many business successes to his name, and considerable experience in sales and management including business start-ups and acquisitions.

After five years with the Ford Motor Company, Eddie gained his main sales experience at Honeywell, Control Data Corporation and CSC Europe before his appointment as director of Hogan Systems Ltd. In 1985 he founded European Computer Services Ltd (ECSL), an international organisation that provided major treasury systems to financial institutions and banks including Natwest in the UK and WestLB in Germany.

In 1989, he founded Systems Integration Management Ltd (SIM) which he merged ECSL in 1991 to become The SIM Group. In 1999, Eddie sold SIM group, for over £6m, to Gresham Computing. He now holds a number of board director positions and is a major investor in other IT companies including DeRisk IT, the UK’s leading testing automation consultancy.
